Asus ROG Strix Scar II Gaming Laptop in the Test

The first impression is often decisive in love. Maybe that’s why the Asus GL504GV immediately goes into courtship mode like a colorful bird of paradise. At startup, the logo that is typical of the “Republic of Gamers” (“ROG” – Asus’ high-end gaming series) flashes, a colorful LED bar lights up at the bottom edge and the buttons light up when the notebook opens. Is Asus trying to play something here? That’s about 2.3 kilograms for a gaming laptop, although acceptable, but quite high weight? Or the haptic unflattering plastic case? In any case, the COMPUTER BILD testers are not blinded by the courtship behavior of Asus and also look at the intrinsic values of the gaming laptop.
